Description
Our client is a large retail group, they have a requirement for 3 Test Analysts for a 12 to 18 month contract (with review after 6 months).

Required Job Competency and Key Performance Areas:

• Advanced knowledge of business operations within a retail and debtors environment and
sound business acumen
• Proven Experience in Test Planning for new software.
• User Acceptance testing and Software deployment exposure required
• Thorough knowledge of structured test methods and processes
• Administration and Organisational Skills
• Ability to liaise with all levels of staff and management
• Ability to work in a Team
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• High work ethics and standards
• Proven experience and working knowledge of QA disciplines, Unit testing, Integration
testing, Functional testing, System testing and Regression testing
• Assist in the preparation of test plans and test scripts
• Execution of test scripts and demonstrating the business condition under test and the
expected results
• Ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the schedule and the quality requirements
• Ensure high quality and accuracy is maintained through to software release
Skills Required
2-5 years experience in a testing environment – knowledge of testing methodologies, SDLC process
Experience in Testing Tools. E.g. IBM Rational Quality Manager, Mercury
ISEB Foundation Certificate
Additional
Education: ISTQB/SEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing or similar e.g. Diploma in Software testing
