Description
A large financial institution is looking for a Systems Specialist to be actively involved in various projects surrounding the derivative and equity trading systems at a technical and functional level. You will also be actively involved in the implementation of various derivative and equity trading systems at a technical and functional level, the documentation and hand over all relevant aspects of the equity and other derivative trading systems to GTSS / GSS on completion of projects, perform a leading role in configuration and support handover of derivative and equity trading related systems, provide ongoing business support related to derivative and equity trading systems, be involved in all functional aspects of derivative and equity trading systems, be responsible for integration of various derivative and equity trading systems with various downstream systems and be responsible for ADFL and ASQL development in the Front Arena system.
Skills Required
• 2-5 years as either a Systems Analyst or Business Analyst
• Knowledge of Derivate and Equity Trading Systems
• Exposure to derivative and related instruments would be an advantage.
• Exposure to BESA, EQUITY, SAFEX, and other related exchanges would be an advantage.
• Understanding of Reuters, Bloombergs and INET
• Understanding of FIX, XML and related message formats.
• Exposure to SYBASE.
• Exposure to UNIX / Solaris.
• Thorough SQL language experience.

EDUCATION: BSc/B Com (Compt) or Financial Diploma in Derivatives
