Our client is a progressive South African financial services group, offering a comprehensive range of products and services to both the individual and corporate markets. Superior investment performance in relation to the client's risk tolerance is of paramount importance to the company. They have a requirement for a Systems Developer to join their Actuarial Division

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain database applications in Oracle PL/SQL
• Setup an Oracle Database
• Code application logic in PL/SQL according to acceptable quality standards
• Design Test Matrices, Test Cases, and Test Data
• Maintain Documentation
• Maintain Code in Source Management Software
• Profile Applications and optimise code
• Ensure compliance with quality standards
• Generate reports from data using SQL
• Develop and implement systems according to specifications
• Test, debug and quality assure programmed code
• Develop in a structured environment using versioning control
• Support existing systems by investigating, identifying and rectifying problems.
• Customer Interfacing
Skills Required
• Min 5 years work experience
• Financial Services background (Banking and/or Insurance)
• Strong Analytical, Logical deduction and reasoning experience
• Good Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Advanced Documentation Skills
Additional
SALARY: R350-R400K pa CTC
EDUCATION: BSc Computer Science & Information Systems with Mathematics and Statistics (at least 1st year)
