Our client is a leader in the design, development and maintenance of quality, technology-based solutions for large financial services institutions, where application development is focused on providing secure transactional systems for use in treasury and trading environments. They are looking experienced software developers who have over 3 years actual coding
Skills Required
• Strong JAVA development capability (3 years plus)
• Good data modelling and OO design skills are essential
• Having worked with various OS platforms: Linux/Unix, Windows
• Advantageous: IBM WebSphere experience (MQ)
• Advantageous: Spring experience
• Object oriented and SOA development experience
• Web services experience (XML, XSL, standards)
• Complete SDLC activities
• Other programming languages such as C# advantageous
• Good communicator both written and verbal
Additional
EDUCATION: BSc Comp Sci, Masters / BSc Eng (Elec) or other suitable degree
