| Our client, a large Blue Chip company in the Supply Chain Industry requires a Project Manager/Lead to manage and deliver consulting projects/components of projects including reviews, design and implementation. You would also be required to do Business Development i.e. sell supply chain consulting solutions to potential clients either independently or in conjunction with an Account Manager. The solutions often integrate with a larger offering requiring the understanding of up & downstream impacts and a team approach. You will be a member of the Consulting Management team. Duties & Responsibilities • Lead and manage project to ensure delivery of the solution at the required quality, within budget and through a team approach • Manage the project team and support team members in the delivery process and deliver portions of the solution if necessary • Work within the overall project plan in terms of , objectives, timelines & milestones • Manage and interact with the client project team as required • Interact with senior client representatives and build client relationships • Report on the project progress as required • Assist Account Manager in developing client account where required • Prepare proposals to support sales engagement and or response to tender documents received from clients. • Meet client and the company’s objectives on assigned projects • Ensure Project administration (where assigned & applicable) is carried out as required • Adhere to project management best practices stipulated - examples are file structures, project close documentation and project review documentation • Take responsibility for project reports and presentation of results • Manage, guide and motivate resources assigned to projects • Adhere to departmental methodologies where applicable • Adhere to administrative processes (completion of timesheets & validation of the hours at cut off date, leave book etc) as applicable • Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures and guide personnel that report directly to you 'to do the same' • Involvement in sales engagements where required • Monthly and weekly reporting ownership as applicable • Contribute as required to the overall Divisional areas such as Invocoms, internal processes, capacity management, community projects, Brown Bags, etc., as applicable |

| Skills Required | |||
| • Minimum 5 years working experience in the supply chain field and at least 5 years experience in consulting in the supply chain area • Must have strong project management skills and exhibit urgency and ability to meet deadlines and manage project costs and profitability. • Must have experience of working with external clients and be able to deal with clients at all levels and have excellent client relationship building skills • Must have excellent knowledge and experience in designing and implementing supply chain solutions preferably across various areas including strategy, planning, inventory management, warehouse management, transport management, and across processes, technology systems, infrastructure and people. • Must have an understanding of the various supply chain areas and how they integrate. • Strategic, tactical and Operational experience is preferred • Must have excellent report writing and presentation skills • Must be able to manage small to medium sized project teams and develop and support fellow team members as well as manage and develop and support client teams. • Must have excellent people skills and the willingness to learn and share information. • Must be able to operate independently when necessary and have the drive and initiative to seek advice and support when required. • Must be able to learn quickly and apply learnings where required • Must be able to identify opportunities in projects and have ability to sell these to clients • This role is only open to EE Candidates |
