Description
Our client requires the services of a Business Analyst to define business requirement specifications. You would be required to use analysis and hypothesis-driven problem solving approaches to identify high-level consumer and business requirements and translate these into business requirement documentation to address and achieve the company’s business objectives. You will collaborate with Product Management, Operations, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, and vendors to find solutions to business and strategic problems.

Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic analytical support to the Product Managers and provide strategic recommendation to business regarding mobile products and how they interface with - billing, delivery channel, customer support, technology-based optimisation, etc.
• Work with internal partners and external vendors to define business requirement specifications.
• Conduct primary and secondary market research, and synthesise and report on key business metrics and trends. Establish working relationships with organisational stakeholders and collaborate across internal groups to identify requirements, gather data, and conduct analysis.
Skills Required
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Excellent grasp of web site, mobile site development within or for the media or telecom sector.
• At least 3 years experience within a product development team that develop Internet or mobile Internet products that consumers use.
• Demonstrated success with analysis and a hypothesis-driven problem-solving approach.
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Visio or OmniGraffle experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills, and ability to explain complex analysis and communicate effectively with cross-functional teammates.

DURATION: 6 month contract with possibility of renewal
EDUCATION: B.Com – Informatics/IT Management/Information Systems preferred
